Task = 2 essays - 30 minutes for each

1. The main point of this essay is to show that you know how to write well in English
2. Lie if you have to. Stick to true examples. Can even give personal examples. Point is, it should support the hypothesis & each other
3. Good grammar, good spelling, good punctuation Essay organization (intro + 2-3 body para + conclusion)
4. Specific reasons & examples that support the thesis statement
5. Finish on time

Organization structure

1. Intro
   1. Start a sentence with “Some people/experts/researchers” and say something good about the side you disagree with
   2. In case going 2 sides is difficult - Just however have 1 sentence that says that what your opposing side believes in & then explain why they’re wrong, when stating your thesis
   3. Shift to prompt, then your thesis
   4. Provide an outline that tells the reader how many body paragraphs you have & what they’ll be about
2. Body para
   1. Topic sentence with reason that supports thesis
   2. Example supporting reason
   3. ‘Negative’ example - without this reason that you mentioned, society would fall - hammers point in
   4. Analysis/development/Why is this important ? - explain why it is important for your reason to succeed
3. Conclusion
   1. State that it is a ‘complex’ issue with people on both sides
   2. Rephrase thesis and supporting reasons
