24 Hour WebOps Hackathon : Participants Guide

24 hour hackathon is a mid prep (200pts) event conducted by techsoc in collaboration with CFI webops. An event where coders/developers from different hostels come to engage in collaborative computer programing.

Gains by holding this event-

• Networking- Great way to build a network among the tech enthusiasts in IITM.
• To atleast get a hold of a few names of students so that we can select them to participate in the inter iit tech meet or train some who we think has the caliber to be a contingent.
• Churn out good projects- This event is a great way to select students who have skills as well as perseverance. Such students might get a chance in the future to be part of projects by CFI.

3. What is the venue of the event ? Why

   CRC → fully functional AC halls which could accommodate a large number of students at the same time. Small perks like electric sockets at desks and projectors are also available at CRC which makes the process of charging laptop and other accessories and displaying the PS easy Around 50 power cable extensions, posters with qr code for registration.

4. Snacks → discount coupon, veg puffs, chips, biscuits, chocolates
